Castle Crowley Black Velvet Appliqué Maxi Skirt

The mist is rolling in at the top of the 199 steps of The Octopus Garden. Through a gap the falling leaves have left in the trees, you can catch a glimpse of a stained glass sun - casting light on all twelve signs of the stars, protecting an ancient building. 

A stream of smoke draws you to the outer walls, which read: ‘Every man and every woman is a star: Welcome to Castle Crowley.’

This Autumn/Winter we are so excited to bring you something a little darker, while still keeping the magic and colour of the 60s that you love from TOG. Inspired by the medieval revival of the 1960s, the rise of paganism and astrology, and of course the Occultist himself: Aleister Crowley. 

Everything is handmade to order by me and our fantastic seamstress Helen, using a vibrant 100% cotton designed by Natalie Renton, as well as deadstock fabrics. We hope it brings some Magick to your wardrobe!

A black maxi is a NECESSITY and we've added a touch of magic to these! All made from vintage 70s cotton velvet maxi skirts, we have appliquéd a Castle Crowley print moon and sparkling gold star onto each one. There is only one in each size below.

Every piece is handmade to order with so much love, so please allow 2-3 weeks before posting. As these are vintage pieces there may be small defects.
